We focus on creating building blocks to enable exciting features for our customers. Specifically, we are evolving our Confidential Computing platform comprising several services and a robust developer tool-chain, and a public key infrastructure. Our trust platforms unlock 1Password's ability to offer impactful features while remaining on the leading edge of security and user data privacy. This is a remote opportunity within Canada or the US. This position will be for 4 months - September to December 2026. What you can expect: • Write Rust and Go code with a focus on reliability, quality and durability • Contribute to feature design, development and release • Contribute to documenting solutions and new designs • Contribute to feature design, documentation, implementation, and releasing code to production • Collaborate with team members by providing and receiving timely feedback on code submissions and design docs • Uphold and contribute to team processes • Remain curious and seek opportunities to expand and deepen your technical knowledge and leadership skills What we're looking for: • Confidence: A willingness to take on new challenges, and see them through to completion. • Humility: You're not afraid to ask "stupid" questions and make mistakes (as long as you learn from them). • Curiosity: You look for better ways of doing things, even if everyone seems happy with how they are. • Teamwork: We work together, and succeed as a team! 1Password is a password manager developed by the Canadian software company AgileBits Inc. It supports multiple platforms such as iOS, Android, Windows, Linux, and macOS. It provides a place for users to store various passwords, software licenses, and other sensitive information in a virtual vault that is locked with a PBKDF2-guarded master password.
