About the Role

We're looking for a Software Engineer to work directly with the founding team. This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants to build the core infrastructure and product behind an AI-powered platform that's transforming how enterprise teams analyze data and automate complex workflows. You'll ship real features quickly, work across the full stack, and play a key role in a fast-growing startup where your code reaches users immediately. What You Will Do • Build and ship product features end-to-end across an AI-powered software platform. • Design and implement the systems that power automated workflows, data processing, and AI-generated outputs. • Work across the full stack, including frontend interfaces, backend services, data pipelines, and AI/LLM integrations. • Build seamless integrations across the tools users rely on, including web applications, spreadsheets, email, and other productivity platforms. • Collaborate closely with the founding team on technical architecture and product direction. • Write clean, reliable, well-tested code in a fast-moving environment where shipping quickly matters. • Debug and optimize platform performance, particularly around AI-generated outputs and large datasets. • Contribute to infrastructure and internal tooling that enables the engineering team to scale efficiently. • Take ownership of problems, not just assigned tasks, by identifying opportunities and driving solutions from concept to implementation. Qualifications • 2+ years of professional software engineering experience. • Strong fundamentals in at least one backend language (Python, TypeScript/Node.js, Go, etc.) with the ability to work across the full stack. • Experience building and shipping customer-facing products. • Solid understanding of databases, APIs, and distributed system design. • Ability to move quickly, make pragmatic tradeoffs, and iterate effectively. • Comfortable working with ambiguity and independently solving loosely defined problems. • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Nice to Have • Experience working with LLMs, prompt engineering, or production AI/ML systems. • Familiarity with financial data or building software for complex professional workflows. • Experience developing spreadsheet add-ins, email integrations, or multi-platform product experience. • Background in data engineering or working with large, unstructured datasets. • Experience as an early engineer at a startup. • Contributions to open-source projects. • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools such as AWS, GCP, Docker, and CI/CD.
