Chief Intelligence Officer

ATRIZ has been retained by a high-growth energy tech organization specializing in building utility-scale solar and battery storage projects to lead the search for a Chief Intelligence Officer. The CIO will report to the CEO with a dotted line to the CTO and unify a set of existing AI assets into a single intelligent platform spanning data, models, applications, copilots, and cognitive governance. The mandate is to embed AI-native, agentic workflows across origination, development, finance, engineering, and operations, and to build the team that makes it real. What we're looking for: • 10+ years leading AI, automation, or platform/product strategy at scale • Track record integrating AI into complex enterprises, not just pilots • Credibility with engineers and executives alike • First-principles operator comfortable in ambiguous, high-growth environments • Remote-first. C-suite seat.
