Artificial Intelligence Engineer

AI Engineer $75-$85/hour Fully remote W2 contract with benefits and PTO We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic AI Consultant to lead and accelerate our AI initiatives. In this role, you will be the driving force behind designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge AI solutions with a primary focus on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Multi-Agent architectures. You will work closely with our technical leadership and engineering teams to architect intelligent, scalable, and highly performant AI applications from the ground up, moving them from proof-of-concept to enterprise-grade production solutions . Key Responsibiliti • esRAG & Multi-Agent Architecture: Design, architect, and implement robust RAG pipelines and collaborative multi-agent systems to solve complex business problem • s.Data Processing & Chunking: Develop and optimize advanced data ingestion pipelines. Apply sophisticated document parsing and chunking strategies (e.g., semantic, recursive, context-aware) to maximize retrieval accuracy and relevanc • e.AI Evaluation & Optimization: Establish rigorous evaluation frameworks and techniques (using tools like RAGAS, TruLens, or custom metrics) to continuously assess and improve hallucination rates, context precision, and overall model performanc • e.End-to-End Implementation: Act as a full-lifecycle engineer, not just building the AI models but also integrating them into reliable backend services and functional user interface • s.Cloud Deployment: Leverage cloud-native services to securely host, scale, and manage LLMs, vector databases, and agentic workflow s. Required Qualificati • onsProgramming: Deep proficiency in Python for backend development, data processing, and AI/ML orchestrati • on.AI/LLM Frameworks: Extensive hands-on experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, LangGrap • h).RAG Mastery: Proven track record of building production-level RAG systems, including embedding generation, vector database management (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, pgvector), and advanced retrieval techniques (Hybrid search, query routing, re-rankin • g).Evaluation Expertise: Strong understanding of LLM evaluation techniques, prompt engineering methodologies, and continuous improvement cycles for generative outpu ts.
