We're partnered with an exceptionally well-funded AI startup founded by leaders from Scale AI and Meta, building the data infrastructure layer behind some of the world's most advanced AI labs.Already working with frontier AI companies and backed by a world-class team, they're looking for Senior Software Engineers who want to help define how the next generation of AI systems are developed. What you'll do • Own products and features end-to-end, from idea to production • Build the platform powering data production pipelines for frontier AI labs • Make architectural decisions that directly influence company direction • Work closely with operations, product, and leadership teams • Lead projects and mentor other engineers • Use AI coding tools daily to increase speed and quality • Help scale an ambitious company with plans to reach massive scale with a lean engineering team What they're looking for • 5+ years of software engineering experience • Strong product engineering mindset • Experience building and shipping production software from scratch • Strong TypeScript experience preferred • Comfortable owning technical decisions with minimal oversight • Previous startup experience is highly valued • Experience using tools such as Cursor, Claude Code or GitHub Copilot • Engineers who thrive in ambiguity and move quickly Bonus points for • Founding Engineer or early startup experience • Experience in AI, developer tools, fintech or infrastructure products • Previous experience mentoring engineers or leading projects • Track record of building products used at scale Why join? • Founded by leaders from Scale AI and Meta • Working directly with some of the world's leading AI labs • High ownership and genuine influence over product direction • Small, elite team of builders • Fast-growing business with significant funding already secured • Competitive compensation and meaningful equity • Opportunity to work on problems at the forefront of AI Package • $230,000 to $280,000 base salary • Significant equity package • Visa sponsorship available • New York City or San Francisco • 5 days per week onsite This is the type of opportunity that rarely reaches the open market.
