Director of AI Enablement & Advancement
Location: New York, NY

Employment type: Full-time, remote-friendly (occasional travel for on-sites and team meetings)
What You'll Own
• Company-wide AI Enablement: Design and own a company-wide AI fluency progression framework; build and deliver advanced learning experiences and workshops; partner with functional leaders to identify role-specific AI use cases; establish scalable public knowledge infrastructure; develop frameworks and standard operating procedures.
• AI Operations and People Advancement: Be a technical thought partner to People Leadership Team; support core workflows across Talent Acquisition, People Business Partners, L&D, Total Rewards, and People Operations; build systematic AI capabilities; transform performance and development programs into continuous, AI-assisted systems.
What You'll Support
• Audit high-friction manual workflows; lead end-to-end process redesign to make them AI-native.
• Partner with executive leaders and People Business Partners to guide organizational design initiatives.
What Success Looks Like
• Redesign and deploy company-wide performance and development framework within nine months.
• Establish and launch AI fluency progression framework within first six months of hire.
• Audit and redesign at least three high-volume manual workflows into AI-native processes within first year.
• Support change efforts for public knowledge infrastructure (e.g., Slack).
What You'll Bring
• 8–12+ years of experience in enterprise change management, workforce transformation, organizational development, or digital enablement (consulting, product, engineering, or business operations preferred).
• Proven track record of building scalability programs advancing employee technical depth to advanced AI workflows.
• Hands-on experience leading end-to-end process discovery, redesign, and change management for manual workflows.
• Familiarity with core People Team functions (talent acquisition, L&D, total rewards) preferred.
• Strong functional understanding of generative AI, large language models, agentic workflows, and AI governance principles.
• Exceptional communication skills; ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority.
• Systems-thinking mindset; high comfort navigating ambiguous environments.
• High emotional intelligence; experience guiding teams through technological change.
• Experience as a senior individual contributor driving enterprise-wide strategic programs.
Nice To Have
• Prior experience in fast-growth technology, healthcare, or employee benefits company.
• Experience designing scaled organizational knowledge management systems on modern internal collaboration platforms.
Compensation And Benefits
Target base salary range: $180,000 - $225,000 (plus stock options and benefits). Pay may vary based on experience, location, and equity.
