About the Role
Clayton Services is searching for an AI Software Integrator to join a rapidly growing technology-driven company in North Houston. The AI Software Integrator will be responsible for designing AI-powered solutions, building workflow automations, integrating business systems, and helping departments leverage artificial intelligence to improve efficiency and productivity.
Job Type: Direct HirePay Rate: $85,000 - $100,000Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, discretionary bonus, FSA, stock options, and more.
AI Software Integrator Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain AI agents that support business operations across multiple departments.
• Develop AI-powered automations that streamline engineering, project management, procurement, CRM, and marketing workflows.
• Configure integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, secure connectors, and cloud-based platforms.
• Create prompt templates, guardrails, and structured instructions that improve AI accuracy and consistency.
• Automate multi-step business processes using workflow platforms such as Power Automate, Zapier, or similar tools.
• Connect applications and data sources through APIs while managing authentication, error handling, and data mapping.
• Monitor AI performance and continuously improve workflows using testing, analytics, and user feedback.
• Create technical documentation, user guides, and training materials for AI solutions.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement practical AI solutions.
• Ensure AI systems follow security best practices and protect confidential company information.
AI Software Integrator Skills and Abilities:
• Strong understanding of artificial intelligence, automation, and emerging technologies.
• Experience with Python and JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience working with REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth authentication, and JSON data.
• Familiarity with SQL, CSV data, and basic data validation.
• Experience using AI frameworks, prompt engineering, or workflow automation tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Power Automate, Zapier, or n8n.
• Basic understanding of Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience with GitHub, SharePoint, Jira, or Azure DevOps is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated learner who quickly adapts to new technologies.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Hands-on builder who enjoys solving business problems through technology rather than simply writing code.
AI Software Integrator Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Recent graduates and candidates with 1-3 years of professional experience are encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrated experience building AI tools, automations, APIs, or workflow integrations through professional work, internships, personal projects, or open-source contributions.
• Experience applying AI to solve real business problems is strongly preferred over years of traditional software development experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
