About the Role

Compensation noteThis is an equity-only, part-time co-founder role (15–20 hours/week). You'll join as a founding team member with meaningful ownership. Salary will be revisited as the company raises or reaches revenue milestones. LocationThis is fully remote role but candidate must be located in US. About CloudDutyThe home and professional services market is massive but still broken. Platforms like Thumbtack and Angi have shown there is a demand, but adoption among service professionals and home owners remains frustratingly low. CloudDuty is building the app (called 66 services) they actually will use. Over the last six months, we've built an MVP built on Firebase, Google Cloud Functions, and React. We're now ready to accelerate: mobile app launches, expanded features, and a growing user base. We're looking for a technical co-founder to lead us through that next chapter. The RoleAs Co-Founder & CTO/CPO, you won't just write code, you'll own the technical vision and help shape the company. You'll lead development across our React frontend, cloud backend, and the upcoming launch of our iOS and Android apps. What you will do • Own the technical roadmap and architecture decisions • Lead frontend development in React and drive the mobile app launch (iOS & Android) • Build and maintain scalable backend services using Firebase and Google Cloud Functions • Establish engineering best practices, code quality standards, and CI/CD pipelines • Collaborate directly with the founder on product strategy and business decisions • Help recruit and mentor future engineering hires as the team grows What we are looking for • Strong React expertise - you've shipped production-grade web or mobile apps • Solid full-stack background with experience on cloud platforms (GCP experience required) • Experience deploying apps to the App Store and Google Play • Actively using AI-assisted development tools (Codex, Claude Code, or equivalent) in your daily workflow • Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable with ambiguity, ownership, and a startup pace • Strong communicator who can bridge technical and non-technical conversations Why join? • Meaningful equity stake as a founding team member • Real influence over product, tech stack, and company direction • Proven MVP already in market means you're building on a foundation, not starting from zero • Flexible, fully remote and just15–20 hours/week commitment
