Vibe Coding Engineer - Generative AI Location: Remote United States Job Description: CTG is seeking to fill a Vibe Coding Engineer (Generative AI) — Entry Level position for our client. Location: Remote Duration: 12 months Duties: Build rapid prototypes, proof-of-concepts, internal tools, and AI-powered applications using modern software development practices and Generative AI technologies. Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and similar platforms to accelerate software development and experimentation. Develop full-stack applications and services using technologies such as React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Golang. Work with Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, AI agents, and Model Context Protocol (MCP). Design and integrate REST APIs, microservices, and AI-enabled application components. Experiment with AI orchestration patterns and emerging developer tools to transform ideas into functional solutions quickly. Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering teams to understand requirements and develop innovative prototypes. Use Git and GitHub for source control, collaboration, and code management. Test, troubleshoot, refine, and document prototypes and applications. Stay current with emerging Generative AI technologies, frameworks, coding assistants, and development methodologies. Skills: Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Golang, or Node.js. Experience with React and/or Next.js. Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and Git/GitHub. Hands-on experience with Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar AI-assisted coding tools. Understanding of LLMs, RAG architectures, prompt engineering, AI agents, and MCP. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and creative thinking skills. Ability to rapidly learn new technologies and experiment with emerging tools. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Passion for Generative AI, rapid prototyping, and AI-assisted software development. Experience: 0–2 years of professional software development experience. Demonstrated experience building software projects, prototypes, applications, or proof-of-concepts using modern development technologies. Experience using AI coding assistants or Generative AI tools to enhance software development is strongly preferred. Academic, personal, internship, open-source, or project-based experience may be considered in lieu of extensive professional experience. Must be a U.S. citizen. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field preferred. Equivalent education, training, coursework, or demonstrated technical experience may be considered. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $114,000 to $135,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
