About the Role

We run a company with a lot of repetitive daily work that should be handled by small, smart pieces of software. Instead of hiring a big dev team, we build these tools by directing AI (Claude and similar) in plain English — describing what we need, testing it, and refining it fast. It works, and we want a team member who can do this with us every day. We're looking for one person to be the daily "vibe coding" partner: someone we can hand an idea to in the morning and, by working alongside AI tools, turn it into a working app or automation. You don't need years of experience or a computer science degree. You need to be quick, curious, dependable, and genuinely excited about building things. What You'll Do: • Sit with us (and with AI coding tools) to turn everyday business problems into small applications and automations — internal dashboards, workflow tools, data helpers, and full mini-apps. • Take a rough idea and run with it: prototype fast, test it, fix what breaks, and ship something usable. • One of our current projects is an internal app— you'd help push projects like this forward and start new ones. • Come to the office roughly once a week to talk through ideas, show progress, and plan what's next. The rest of the week is flexible and remote. Who we are looking for: • You get it fast. We can describe an idea once and you already see where it's going. • High interest. You're the kind of person who tinkers with AI tools for fun and is genuinely excited about what they can build. • Integrity and work ethic. You'll be close to how the business runs, so I need someone honest, reliable, and self-driven — someone who does what they say they'll do. • A builder's instinct. You'd rather ship something rough and improve it than wait for perfect. Nice to have (not required): • Any hands-on experience with AI coding tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Copilot, Replit, v0, etc.). • Familiarity with basic web tech (HTML/JavaScript), Python, or no-code/low-code tools. • Personal projects, side apps, or anything you've built and can show me — this matters more to us than a résumé. You do not need a degree, a certification, or a long work history. Students are very welcome. How to apply: Send a short note telling us why this excites you, if you have built anything in the past tell us about it and your availability for our projects. If you're the kind of person who gets excited reading this, we would really like to hear from you! E:career@stemfuels.com
