AI Developer Mathematics-Focused (Math + Computer Science)

Overview EnclaviaAI Inc. is an early-stage company building Sovereign AI — a multi-tenant enterprise platform and ecosystem of AI agents and agentic workflows built around the principle that your data, your AI, and your way stay in your control. We serve sectors including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, clinical research, and manufacturing. You'll work directly with the founding team on real Sovereign AI systems from the ground up. Who We're Looking For We want mathematically strong builders who understand the machinery underneath modern AI — not just the libraries that call it. The ideal candidate is a Mathematics major with a Computer Science minor (or a CS major with a Math minor) who has implemented core ML architectures from scratch and can reason about models at the level of the underlying linear algebra, probability, and optimization. This profile fits both interns and full-time hires. We hire based on demonstrated depth, so the role and compensation scale with your experience. Duties ● Design, build, and maintain components of EnclaviaAI's Sovereign AI platform and agent ecosystem. ● Implement and fine-tune machine learning and LLM systems, including RAG pipelines, tokenization, and model fine-tuning workflows. ● Build and deploy AI agents and agentic workflows for internal and customer-facing use. ● Develop full-stack interfaces (e.g., React front-ends, FastAPI/Node back-ends) and data layers (SQL/NoSQL) to support AI applications. ● Benchmark and evaluate model performance, and research newer tools, architectures, and frameworks that keep our products competitive. ● Ensure systems are secure and compliant, following data-protection and security best practices. Requirement ● Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's (or higher) with a Mathematics major + Computer Science minor, or CS major + Math minor — or equivalent demonstrated ability. ● Strong foundation in linear algebra, probability/statistics, and optimization as they apply to machine learning. ● Hands-on experience implementing foundational ML architectures from scratch (e.g., RNN, LSTM, self-attention Transformers) rather than only using pre-trained models. ● Proficiency in Python and at least one systems or statically-typed language (e.g., C++, Java). ● Practical ML/AI experience: PyTorch, Transformers, tokenization, fine-tuning, neural networks, dataset creation, and data analysis. ● Familiarity with core development tools: Git, Linux, Docker. Preferred / Bonus Experience ● LLM fine-tuning on custom datasets and building interactive interfaces for real-time model interaction. ● Computer vision work (e.g., CNNs for detection/recognition tasks). ● Research or internship experience involving large-scale data pipelines (e.g., scientific computing, C++/data-processing frameworks). ● Exposure to LLM tooling such as Ollama, MongoDB, NodeJS, and RAG frameworks. ● Additional languages/tools: JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, R, Kotlin/Gradle, Flutter. ● Demonstrated initiative — leadership in technical clubs, published/applied research, or hackathon results.
