Director of Artificial Intelligence

Our client—an established Oracle Business Partner with a strong national customer base across JD Edwards and NetSuite—is making AI integration a top strategic priority. They are building a dedicated AI practice to redefine how enterprise customers leverage artificial intelligence within ERP ecosystems and beyond. They are seeking a Director of Artificial Intelligence to lead this initiative, driving the development, strategy, and delivery of next-generation AI offerings for both existing Oracle clients and new enterprise customers. This is a unique opportunity to shape an AI practice from the ground up within a respected consulting organization. Responsibilities:AI Strategy & Leadership • Define and lead the overall AI strategy across the organization. • Build the AI practice—including frameworks, offerings, delivery models, and governance. • Serve as the company's primary AI thought leader, both internally and externally.Product & Solution Development • Architect and deliver AI-driven solutions for JD Edwards, NetSuite, and other enterprise applications. • Identify opportunities to embed AI across ERP workflows, automation, analytics, and customer-facing systems. • Evaluate emerging technologies and develop innovative, market-ready AI offerings. • Design, test, and refine AI integrations using VIBE coding to enhance ERP performance and user interaction.Cross-Functional Collaboration • Work closely with ERP consulting teams, technical developers, and functional SMEs to integrate AI capabilities into client environments. • Partner with executive leadership to align AI initiatives with business growth goals. • Present solution roadmaps and outcomes to C‑level stakeholders.Customer Engagement • Lead client conversations around AI readiness, strategy, and implementation. • Serve as a trusted advisor in guiding customers through adoption, deployment, and value realization. • Support pre-sales conversations, demos, and proposal development as needed. Required: • Hands-on experience in AI, machine learning, or intelligent automation technologies. • Proven ability to architect, design, and deliver AI-driven solutions in enterprise environments. • Hands-on experience with VIBE coding (required). • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior executives and non-technical audiences. • Leadership experience in consulting, product development, or technology strategy. • Experience guiding cross-functional teams (direct or matrixed). Preferred: • Background in ERP ecosystems—especially Oracle JD Edwards and/or NetSuite. • Experience leveraging AI within finance, supply chain, manufacturing, or enterprise operations. • Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), data engineering, RPA, or predictive analytics. *No third party candidates or C2C.
