About the Role

Responsibilities
Build and support backend services for payment, loyalty, promotion, and other commerce domain systemsEnable AI-driven checkout flows with proper validations and guardrailsEnsure scalability, reliability, and compliance across systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions aligned with business goalsParticipate in code reviews to maintain high standards of quality, performance, and securityContribute to architectural decisions that support long-term system growth and stabilityTroubleshoot and resolve complex production issues in a timely mannerMentor team members and support their technical development
Skills
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experienceAt least one year of experience leading and managing teamsStrong backend development experience with Java and Spring BootExisting production experience developing Front-End components using React.JSFamiliarity with Anthropic Claude CodeProficiency in building REST APIs and microservicesExposure to AI-assisted or agent-based workflows and backend integrationsA willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, patterns, and technologiesCloud experience with GCP and/or AzureAvailability to work with overlap into US Pacific TimeEnglish proficiency at B2 level or higher, with strong written and verbal communication skillsCCA-F certificationExperience with ApigeeFamiliarity with JavaScript backend platforms
