They are seeking a Full-Stack Java developer with expertise in AI-powered development tools to enhance developer productivity through intelligent use of AI tooling and to design scalable full-stack applications.
Responsibilities
Lead implementation and optimization of AI development tools across the engineering organizationDesign and refine prompts for GitHub Copilot, and similar AI coding assistantsDevelop custom AI-powered development workflows and automation scriptsCreate prompt libraries and best practices for code generation, documentation, and testingTrain and mentor development teams on effective AI tool usage and prompt engineeringEvaluate and integrate new AI development tools and platformsEstablish coding standards and guidelines for AI-assisted developmentOptimize AI tool configurations for maximum code quality and developer efficiencyDevelop internal tools and extensions to enhance AI development workflowsDesign and develop scalable full-stack applications using Java and modern web technologiesBuild robust backend services using Spring Boot, microservices architectureDevelop responsive frontend applications using Angular, React, or similar frameworksDesign, develop, and maintain API microservices that are scalable, resilient, and secureDeploy and integrate applications within our infrastructure, ensuring seamless orchestration with other internal and external systemsCollaborate effectively with other developers, testers, and stakeholders within a SAFe Agile environment
Skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fieldMinimum 1-2 year hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistantsProven track record of improving development productivity through AI toolsExperience with prompt engineering specifically for code generation and development tasksKnowledge of AI development tool APIs and integrationsUnderstanding of AI model capabilities and limitations in development contextsExperience with AI-powered testing tools and automated code review systemsAbility to train and support other developers in AI tool adoption1-2 years of experience in Java Full Stack developmentHands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring DataFrontend development experience with Angular, Bootstrap, jQuery, Data Tables and REST APIProficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and TypeScriptExperience with build tools (Maven, Gradle) and package managers (npm, maven)Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)Experience with cloud platforms (mainly AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)Experience with Integrated Development Environments (Eclipse, IntelliJ, Visual Studio Code, Sprint Tool Suite)Availability during the core business hours of 9-5 ETAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearanceExperience using AI tools such as BrowserStack, PLayWright and testim for test case generation and automated testingExperience with integrating USWDS compliant components with Angular storybook is a plusExperience supporting US federal government contracts
