Detailed Job Description:Job Title: AI Agentic DeveloperJob Type & Duration: Contract | Long-TermJob Location: Remote (USA) – Must be available to work PST hours Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced AI Agentic Developer to design, develop, and deploy next-generation AI-powered applications using modern Generative AI technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, FastAPI, React, TypeScript, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Prompt Engineering, and Google Cloud Vertex AI. This role involves building scalable, production-grade AI solutions that enable intelligent automation and enhance business capabilities. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications using Python/FastAPI and React/TypeScript. • Build and implement Generative AI solutions leveraging LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and multi-agent workflows. • Own the end-to-end delivery of AI applications, including architecture, deployment, monitoring, and optimization. • Collaborate with architects, product managers, and engineering teams to deliver scalable AI-powered solutions. • Implement AI observability, tracing, cost monitoring, and performance measurement frameworks. • Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and code quality. • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices. • Troubleshoot, test, and optimize AI applications across the full technology stack. • Mentor development teams on Generative AI best practices and modern engineering standards. • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical design discussions. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, or a related field. • 5+ years of software engineering experience. • 2+ years of hands-on experience developing Generative AI applications. • Strong experience with Python, FastAPI, React, and TypeScript. • Experience building production-grade AI applications using modern Large Language Model (LLM) platforms. • Hands-on experience with Prompt Engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI orchestration frameworks. • Experience developing REST APIs, containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Vertex AI. • Experience using AI observability platforms such as LangFuse, LangSmith, or similar tools. • Familiarity with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or Windsurf. • Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT authentication, RBAC, and cloud-native application development. • Experience working within the retail or e-commerce domain is a plus.
