Applied AI Engineer

Incorpify AI is building AI infrastructure that brings incorporation, accounting, tax, compliance, and other business services into one connected platform. The roleWe're looking for an Applied AI Engineer to lead the technical development of our new sports vertical, helping athletes and sports organizations manage the business and financial responsibilities behind their careers and operations.You'll take ownership from early development through launch, working directly with our founders, CTO, and product team to build AI applications, integrations, and automated workflows. What you'll do• Lead the technical development of the sports vertical, shaping its architecture and implementation.• Build AI agents and workflows that support business formation, financial administration, and compliance for athletes and sports organizations.• Develop features tailored to college and professional athletes, including those navigating name, image, and likeness (NIL) opportunities.• Connect AI models with our platform, business data, and external services.• Build backend services and APIs, taking features from prototype to production.• Evaluate AI accuracy and reliability, implementing appropriate data protection and human review.• Work closely with users and the product team to turn industry needs into useful software. What we're looking for• Around 2–5 years of software engineering experience, with hands-on experience building AI applications.• Strong programming skills in Python or TypeScript.• Experience with LLM APIs, tool calling, retrieval, and agent workflows.• A solid understanding of APIs, databases, cloud services, and production software development.• The ability to take ownership, make practical technical decisions, and deliver in a startup environment.• A passion for sports and a strong interest in building technology for athletes and sports organizations. This is a requirement.Experience in sports technology, NIL, fintech, or compliance is a plus, but not required.
