About the Role
Title: AI Product DesignerLocation: Remote PST hours onlyDuration: 31 WeeksCompensation: $68-88/hrWork Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
Research Platform is part of Central Product Platform (CPP) within Decision Platform. The team's mission is to make product success and innovation better and faster by enabling high-quality, efficient research insights. You'll join a team supporting tools used by UXRs, data scientists, and product teams.
You will own design across Research Platform, focusing on:
Research Lab - An AI-native research insights tool currently in alpha.You'll collect UX feedback, iterate on designs, and drive toward production readiness.Budget Management - An executive-facing survey budget tool with a prototype already on Nest. You'll partner with eng to iterate and drive toward launch.Competitive Intelligence - A new product initiative.
THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU Design and iterate on research tools across multiple concurrent workstreamsPartner closely with engineering, PM, and content design to drive design executionNavigate the intersection of research operations, AI, compliance, and user experienceCollaborate with designers across Experimentation Platform, Metrics Platform, and AI for Data Analytics within the Decision Platform pillar
Essential SkillsMust-have qualifications7+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolioExperience with AI tools (Claude Code, vibe coding, or similar AI-assisted workflows)Ability to independently take a problem from ambiguity to a clear, well-reasoned design solution — not just visual executionStrong cross-functional collaboration skills
Nice-to-have qualificationsExperience designing for data platforms, research tools, analytics tools, or compliance workflowsFigma proficiencySystems thinking - ability to identify patterns and design coherent workflows across a complex platformComfort with rapidly evolving requirements and priorities
Must Have Skills:1) Claude code skills and AI knowledge2) Experience with Vibe coding3) Proven ability to work efficiently as part of a team and problem solve independently
