About the Job.
JPI has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Agentic Software Developer to join the Solution Delivery team within the Digital Engineering organization in Dallas, TX. This is an entry-level position designed for a recent or upcoming graduate beginning their software engineering career.
As JPI continues to expand and modernize its AI and software development ecosystem, this role contributes directly to the agents, applications, and integrations that advance our digital strategy and transform building. You will write production code from your first months, working alongside senior developers who will review your work, teach you the enterprise stack, and progressively hand you ownership of your own solutions.
The Associate Agentic Software Developer builds and supports JPI-proprietary agents, full-stack internal applications, and system integrations using platforms such as Workato and complementary technologies. The role reports to the Lead Integration and AI Developer and works closely with technical and non-technical teams across the company. It is structured for deliberate growth: responsibilities expand as demonstrated capability grows, with senior review and mentorship as the constant.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Agentic AI Development

• Implement the security controls, policy-based guardrails, access controls, and monitoring capabilities defined by enterprise AI standards.

Full-Stack & Integrations Development
• Develop and support integrations using Workato, Python, Node.js, Oracle Cloud, and REST APIs, following secure coding practices and established integration patterns.
• Write backend logic and APIs for internal web-based applications, and build responsive, accessible user interface components to the front-end standards set by senior engineers.
• Translate assigned technical specifications into working, tested code, and produce the accompanying documentation for integration workflows, APIs, and agent configurations.
• Monitor integration and application performance, and escalate issues that require senior attention.
