AI Agent Developer

AI Agent Developer (Contract) Location: Atlanta, GA (Open to Remote / Hybrid) We are seeking an experienced AI Agent Developer to design, build, and deploy autonomous AI agents capable of reasoning, planning, and executing multi-step tasks using large language models (LLMs) and modern agent frameworks. This role will play a key part in developing agent-based solutions that leverage enterprise data across a newly evolving Data Lake / Lakehouse environment and integrate with existing district systems. The ideal candidate is technically strong, highly collaborative, and comfortable "knitting together" data, tools, and platforms to deliver intelligent, production-ready AI agents. This role will work closely with custom development teams and business stakeholders to support both AI-driven automation and future rapid application development initiatives. Current major system environment: Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, Microsoft Fabric Technology Environment AI Agents Will Interact With Data And Systems Including • Enterprise Data Warehouse and emerging Data Lake / Lakehouse • Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric • Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) • SharePoint (on-prem) • SAP, including SAP SAC (analytics and reporting) • UKG (time management) • Concur (expense management) • Custom-built enterprise solutions • Microsoft Copilot and LLM-based tools such as ChatGPT Required Skills & Experience • Strong Python development skills • Experience with .NET development, JavaScript, and JSON • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform • Experience working with LLM frameworks and agent-based systems • Backend and API development experience • Understanding of agent-based modeling, multi-agent systems, or reinforcement learning • Knowledge of vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and/or prompt engineering • Ability to design conversational AI and chatbot experiences • Strong collaboration skills and willingness to share knowledge across teams Nice to Have • Experience with Hyland OnBase • Experience with SAP Forms • Familiarity with Azure-native AI services and Microsoft Fabric workloads • Experience supporting rapid application development initiatives Work Model • Hybrid work environment with flexibility Posted By: Maya Russo
