About the Role
About OpenTrainOpenTrain is the #1 platform for finding and building careers in AI training and data labeling. We help contractors discover projects, consolidate opportunities, and build a lasting portfolio of AI training work.
Creating an OpenTrain account is free; the platform connects skilled contributors with projects where their work directly shapes how modern AI systems behave.
About AI training workAI training (data labeling, annotation, and human feedback) is the human side of building AI. Contributors annotate, evaluate, and correct model outputs so models learn desirable behaviors.
This work is often 100% remote, flexible, and accessible: many projects require strong attention to detail and domain knowledge rather than prior AI experience, while specialist roles pay for technical expertise.
The roleOpenTrain is recruiting a Software Engineering LLM Task Creator for a contract, part-time engagement with Turing. You will author realistic software engineering tasks, define expected behaviors, build validation tests, and evaluate model-produced code.
This is an expert-level contractor role for contributors who bring professional software engineering experience and clear technical writing skills. The engagement requires at least 20+ hours per week and is open worldwide; English fluency is required.
