Role DescriptionRémis is seeking an AI Solutions Intern to support the research, analysis, testing, and implementation of practical AI solutions for small businesses.The intern will work closely with the founding team on cross-functional projects involving AI research, financial analysis, data, product development, market research, and business growth.Applicants may identify the project area that most interests them. However, Rémis will determine project assignments based on each intern's skills, experience, performance, current company priorities, and business needs.Interns may primarily support one area or contribute to projects across multiple areas during the internship. All applicants are being considered for the same AI Solutions Intern position and will share the same general expectations, compensation structure, and schedule. Potential Project Areas • AI research and vendor evaluation • Financial analysis and ROI modeling • Data analysis and process automation • Product testing and technical implementation • Market research and customer insights • Growth and partnership support Responsibilities May Include • Researching AI tools, vendors, pricing models, features, and implementation requirements • Evaluating whether AI solutions are practical and financially worthwhile for small businesses • Creating ROI, payback-period, cost-savings, and scenario analyses • Organizing, cleaning, validating, and analyzing business or financial data • Using Excel, Google Sheets, AI tools, programming languages, or automation platforms to complete assigned projects • Testing AI-assisted workflows, prompts, product features, and automated processes • Comparing vendors based on cost, functionality, risk, expected value, and business suitability • Supporting market research, customer discovery, and competitive analysis • Gathering and documenting feedback from small-business owners and platform users • Helping identify potential customers, partners, or industry opportunities • Creating reports, dashboards, summaries, and recommendations based on analytical findings • Reviewing AI-generated outputs for accuracy, reliability, and appropriate assumptions • Supporting improvements to Rémis's platform, research methods, and internal processes • Translating financial, technical, and AI-related findings into clear recommendations • Presenting project progress and completed work to the founding team • Collaborating directly with the Miami-based team when working hybrid or in office Area of Interest and Project PlacementApplicants will be asked to identify their preferred area of interest: • AI research and vendor evaluation • Financial analysis and ROI modeling • Data analysis and automation • Product testing and technical projects • Market research and customer insights • Growth and partnerships • Open to multiple areasPreferences will be considered but are not guaranteed.
