Job Title: Software Engineer Intern — Systems & Data (Summer 2026)Job Description:About RemlReml is building an AI platform for institutional real estate investors, asset managers, and operators. We help investment teams move from static, one-time analysis to continuous, bottom-up intelligence. We are a small team shipping a live product to institutional users. Learn more at www.remlai.com.About the RoleWe are hiring one Software Engineer Intern to help build the core systems behind Reml Insights, our intelligence and decision-support engine for real estate investment. You will work directly with the founder and CTO on core product logic, data infrastructure, and AI-assisted workflows. This is a paid, full-time internship. Strong performance will lead to consideration for a full-time role, subject to business needs and mutual fit.Responsibilities • Build across backend, data pipelines, and frontend to ship production-quality software. • Develop core product modules, including the market rent engine, evaluation workflows, and supply and demand intelligence. • Design and build LLM agents, workflow agents, and automation systems. • Translate product and research requirements into clear engineering implementation plans. • Transform unstructured inputs into structured, reliable, and auditable systems. • Improve performance, data integrity, and robustness across the platform.Minimum Qualifications • Strong hands-on coding ability and experience building production-quality software. • Experience with AWS or other cloud infrastructure. • Comfort working with command-line interface (CLI) tools and AI-assisted development workflows. • Experience building LLM agents, workflow agents, or automation systems. • A degree in computer science, machine learning, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.Preferred Qualifications • Interest in finance, real estate, or investment workflows, and familiarity with financial technology. • Strong quantitative foundation, such as mathematics or physics. • Experience with data pipelines, backend systems, or full-stack product development. • Experience with data-heavy systems and a commitment to data quality and auditability. • Strong debugging skills and the ability to bring structure to ambiguous problems.How We WorkWe value trust and integrity, candid and kind communication, an ownership mindset, and clarity over complexity.
