About the Role
Senior Generative AI Developer | Remote Europe SGF Global is seeking a Senior Generative AI Developer to join an international pharmaceutical project focused on designing and delivering innovative AI-driven solutions. This role combines hands-on engineering, AI enablement, and technical leadership, helping shape how Generative AI is adopted across the software development lifecycle.
This is a fully remote position open to candidates based anywhere in Europe, working within international teams where English is the primary working language.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications end-to-end. Build and orchestrate AI agents, prompt workflows, and model integration pipelines. Develop full-stack solutions using modern frontend and backend technologies. Create scalable backend services, APIs, and data infrastructure supporting AI applications. Implement model and agent evaluation, monitoring, deployment, and governance processes. Embed AI capabilities into software development workflows, including CI/CD, code reviews, and testing. Build internal tools and frameworks to standardize AI adoption and development practices. Define best practices and guardrails to ensure maintainable, scalable, and secure AI solutions. Develop QA automation frameworks for validating AI-generated outputs. Collaborate with international stakeholders within Agile environments. Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks related to performance, scalability, data quality, model drift, and cost optimization. Requirements 8+ years of software engineering experience. Proven experience building production-grade applications. Strong background as a Full Stack Developer. Experience with frontend technologies such as React, Next.js, or similar frameworks. Strong backend development experience using Node.js. Hands-on experience delivering Generative AI or LLM-based solutions in real-world environments. Solid understanding of AI agent orchestration and AI application architecture. Experience working within cloud environments and modern software delivery practices. Knowledge of Azure ecosystems and Azure DevOps is highly valued. Understanding of MLOps concepts including model versioning, deployment, monitoring, and evaluation. Experience building AI testing, validation, or evaluation frameworks. Jira and Confluence experience. Fluent English (written and spoken). Nice to Have Experience within regulated industries such as Pharma, Healthcare, or Life Sciences. Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). Experience with multi-agent AI systems in production environments. Advanced Prompt Engineering expertise. UX/UI and Product Design experience. Exposure to international and cross-functional teams.
