About the Role

smartdept. is searching for a Freelance AI Developer for a business consulting client. This is a part-time, fully remote, ongoing freelance opportunity starting immediately. Our client is looking for a builder who uses AI coding tools to get work done fast, with hands-on NetSuite exposure. What You'll Do: Use Claude Code to build tools, automations, and workflowsConnect to NetSuite through its MCP connector to pull, push, and automate dataPrototype quickly and keep improving based on feedbackWhat You'll Need: Real, hands-on experience with Claude CodeBasic to intermediate use of NetSuite's MCP connectorPrior work inside NetSuite (deep NetSuite expertise not required)A scrappy, self-directed way of workingNice-to-Have Skills: Experience with other AI coding tools or agent frameworksAPI and integration experience (REST, webhooks)Python or JavaScript/TypeScript Remote Skills: Application Programming Interface (API), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Business Development, Consulting, JavaScript, MCP - Microsoft Certified Professional, NetSuite, Prototyping, Python Programming/Scripting Language, REST (Representational State Transfer) smartdept.
