Responsibilities
Design, build, modernize, and support modern applications in Microsoft Azure in collaboration with County staff.Develop and implement cloud-native architectures utilizing .NET Core/.NET 8, C#, and Azure services such as App Services, Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Azure OpenAI, and AI Foundry.Modernize legacy .NET applications and integrate AI-powered solutions, including Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and prompt engineering.Utilize GitHub Copilot, GitHub, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools to streamline development processes.Work with SQL, Cosmos DB, and modern UI frameworks like Blazor, React, or Angular to develop user interfaces and manage data efficiently.Evaluate data, identify trends, conduct feasibility studies, perform gap analyses, and provide actionable insights.Communicate complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences and collaborate effectively with stakeholders, project teams, and leadership.RequirementsProficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and cloud-native development.Strong experience with Azure services, microservices, API security, and Microsoft Entra ID/B2C authentication.Experience modernizing .NET Framework/Web Forms applications to .NET 8 or cloud-native architectures.Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, AI agents, RAG, prompt engineering, and GitHub Copilot.Proficient with GitHub or Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization.Solid understanding of SQL, Cosmos DB, and modern UI frameworks such as Blazor, React, or Angular.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
