Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Key Responsibilities • Partner with retail digital and engineering teams to accelerate software development and digital transformation programs. • Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot, and similar coding agents to enhance productivity, code quality, and delivery speed. • Design, develop, and maintain modern digital applications, APIs, integrations, and cloud-native solutions across multiple technology stacks. • Build, customize, and operationalize AI-driven engineering workflows, reusable AI agents, and automation frameworks. • Mentor development teams on AI-powered software engineering best practices and modern development methodologies. • Identify opportunities to optimize SDLC processes using AI-assisted coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and deployment strategies. • Support development of retail digital capabilities including eCommerce platforms, omnichannel solutions, customer engagement systems, loyalty platforms, order management, and store technologies. • Ensure scalability, performance, maintainability, quality, and security across digital applications and enterprise platforms. • Collaborate closely with product, architecture, DevOps, UX, and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact digital solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. • 7+ years of experience in software engineering, digital engineering, or enterprise application development. • 1–2 years of hands-on experience working with AI-assisted software engineering tools or coding agents. • Strong knowledge of APIs, cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies. • Experience working across multiple programming languages, frameworks, and modern technology stacks. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Experience collaborating directly with enterprise or customer-facing digital teams.
