Head of Product -$200,000 + Equity (No Sponsorship Available) We're partnering with an early-stage construction-tech startup that has secured patents and initial funding and is now assembling its founding team. They are building a novel AI reasoning platform designed to understand how buildings are actually constructed in the real world. The company is now looking for a Head of Product to play a founding execution role, working directly alongside the first senior technical hire to take their flagship AI product from zero to launch. This role sits at the intersection of engineering execution, product delivery, and real-world construction workflows. You'll help translate complex AI/ML concepts into practical product milestones, lead cross-functional execution, and ensure the company moves quickly from concept to production. Importantly, this role requires someone who started their career as a Software Engineer and has experience building and launching 0→1 AI-driven products in a startup environment. What You'll Do • Own end-to-end delivery of the company's first flagship product from concept through launch • Act as the execution partner to the founding technical leader • Build lightweight delivery frameworks appropriate for an early-stage startup • Break down AI/ML and data-heavy initiatives into clear milestones and execution plans • Coordinate across engineering, product, ML/data teams, and external construction stakeholders • Support rapid prototyping through vibe coding, low-code tools, and experimentation • Establish early operating rhythms, delivery standards, and team coordination • Help scale product delivery as the company grows from Seed to Series A What They're Looking For • Previously a Software Engineer (full-stack or backend preferred) • Experience building and launching 0→1 products in an AI or ML-driven environment • Strong product delivery, program leadership, or technical execution background • Ability to work closely with highly technical teams while driving delivery outcomes • Comfortable turning ambiguous ideas into structured execution plans • Experience working in early-stage startups or founding teams Bonus Points • Exposure to construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, or industrial domainsWhy This Role Is Compelling • Founding-level ownership with significant influence on product direction • Opportunity to shape how advanced AI meets real-world construction workflows • Ability to define delivery culture and processes from day one • Work directly with technical founders and early investors • Meaningful equity in a high-upside deep-tech startup
