Under the hood, Arist combines:
• A powerful core infrastructure for content creation, delivery, data integrations, routing, and compliance
• Agent-driven automation, including Needs Analysis, content creation, referencing, analytics, and team orchestration
• Seamless messaging-based engagement, making complex enablement and training feel as easy as texting
Trusted by Fortune 500 companies and large organizations — including Microsoft, HP, Novartis, and the Department of Education — Arist helps teams learn, align, and act faster than ever before.
Our long-term vision: to deliver the right knowledge, to the right person, at the right moment — automatically, through the tools they already use.
About the role
We're hiring a Solutions Integrations Engineer to own how Arist integrates into enterprise customer ecosystems—from pre-sale technical alignment through go-live delivery.
This role sits at the intersection of sales, engineering, and customer success. You'll work directly with enterprise IT teams to set integration expectations, project manage delivery, and ensure every deployment is reliable, scalable, and on time.
If you've been a lead solutions engineer or integration architect and want to build this function from scratch at a fast-growing AI company, this role is designed for you.
What You'll Do
1. Pre-Sale Technical Alignment
• Join deals in the final stages to align expectations with customer IT contacts on what will be delivered, how integrations will work, and what the timeline looks like.
• Serve as the technical voice in enterprise sales conversations—translating customer requirements into integration plans.
• Identify technical risks or blockers early so deals close with realistic, deliverable commitments.
2. Own Integration Delivery
• Project manage integrations from signed deal through successful go-live.
• Design and implement integrations with core customer systems, including HCM, LMS, CRM, and other source systems. Current integrations are largely orchestrated through Workato.
• Execute API connections and integration work directly, or delegate to other engineers on the team while maintaining ownership of delivery.
• Ensure integrations are reliable, scalable, and easy for customers to adopt.
3. Build and Productize the Integration Surface
• Expand, harden, and shape Arist's API to support template-based, repeatable integrations and self-serve or partner-led integrations with minimal Arist involvement.
• Define patterns, tooling, documentation, and best practices that make integrations faster and more predictable over time.
• Partner with product and core engineering to influence API and platform roadmap decisions.
How the Role Evolves
Phase 1: Learn, Execute, and Streamline (0–6 months)
• Go hands-on with existing integration work for a fast-growing customer base.
• Identify bottlenecks and standardize workflows through reusable templates, integration patterns, and documentation.
• Help decide whether to hire a tactical integration engineer or shift more execution to core engineering.
• Establish the pre-sale technical alignment motion so every deal closes with clear, deliverable integration commitments.
Phase 2: Own the Motion and Build the Team (6–18 months)
• Own the full solutions engineering motion from pre-sale alignment through successful go-live.
• Serve as the technical face of complex enterprise deals.
• Build and lead a scalable solutions engineering team.
• Create tight feedback loops with product and engineering to turn integration patterns and customer insights into platform improvements.
Why This Role Is Different
• This is not just an execution-heavy SE role. You'll define the strategy for how integrations get scoped, sold, and delivered.
• You'll own cross-functional outcomes tied directly to revenue, retention, and time-to-value.
• You'll be a founding leader of the Solutions Engineering function, with the mandate to build both the team and the operating model.
