Role DescriptionAxiosware is seeking a Software Engineer who thrives in fast-paced startup environments and enjoys building products quickly using modern AI-assisted development tools. This role focuses on rapid product development for startup clients, including designing and implementing backend systems, APIs, and scalable architectures for AI-powered applications. Engineers at Axiosware work closely with founders to transform product ideas into functional MVPs within accelerated timelines.You will use AI development tools, automation, and modern frameworks to dramatically increase development speed while maintaining high-quality, scalable software. Compensation for this role is project-based with profit-sharing, allowing engineers to participate in the success of the products they help build. Responsibilities• Rapidly design and implement scalable software systems for startup MVPs• Build backend services, APIs, and cloud infrastructure for SaaS and AI-enabled platforms• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, and deployment• Collaborate with founders and product stakeholders to quickly iterate on product ideas• Write clean, maintainable code while maintaining rapid delivery cycles• Architect systems that can scale as startup products grow• Integrate AI services and automation into modern web applications Qualifications• Strong experience with software development and backend systems• Proficiency with modern programming languages and object-oriented programming• Experience building APIs, scalable backend systems, and cloud-based applications• Comfort using AI-assisted development tools and modern productivity workflows• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment• Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to iterate quickly• Passion for building real-world software products• A formal Computer Science degree is welcome but not required. We value practical experience, strong engineering fundamentals, and the ability to ship products quickly. CompensationThis role operates on a project-based profit-sharing model. Engineers receive a share of revenue from the projects they contribute to. As Axiosware secures and completes development contracts with startup clients, team members participate directly in the profits generated from those projects. This model rewards engineers who contribute to building and delivering high-quality software quickly.
