We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who will bring deep technical know-how, system design knowledge and a healthy dose of fun to the team. You will report to the Engineering Manager for the Notetaker group and will play a key role in designing and supporting the core features and architecture that underpin Calendly (https://himalayas.app/companies/calendly)'s AI Notetaker and meeting recaps. A day in the life of a Full Stack Engineer at Calendly (https://himalayas.app/companies/calendly) The Calendly (https://himalayas.app/companies/calendly) Notetaker is built on a modern, service-based architecture and is scaling usage and user-base rapidly - targeting significant further growth over the course of 2026. We need ambitious, experienced engineers who can help us drive this stage of growth. As an engineer at Calendly (https://himalayas.app/companies/calendly), you will both build new features and work to scale our platform and architecture. You will build tooling and automation to fine tune our delivery process as you grow into a service oriented specialist. You will also learn to work with multiple technologies such as Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, NodeJS, React, Golang, PostgreSQL, Redis, to name a few. On a typical day, you will be working on: Collaborate within your team to build new features that expand Notetaker functionality and add support for additional user types. Contribute to platform scaling initiatives. Meet regularly with Product and Design to fine tune requirements. Attend agile ceremonies to help your team plan out their work and get it done. Work across squads to improve Engineering practices at Calendly (https://himalayas.app/companies/calendly). Review implementation plans and pull requests from your peers. Mentor and coach other team members. What do we need from you? 7+ years of Software Development experience at a SaaS or technology company. Professional experience with Node is preferred. Experience with React or a comparable UI framework is also desirable. Professional experience with TypeScript. Ability to adapt to new technologies, changing requirements, and evolving organizational needs Hands-on experience with Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA), microservices, and involvement in significant product-scaling initiatives. Proven ability to own features end-to-end, including technical discovery, implementation, testing, release, and ongoing maintenance. Experience using AI coding assistants (Copilot, Cursor, etc.) as productivity tools, with a clear understanding of generated code and the ability to defend implementation choices. Availability for participation in on-call rotation, ensuring prompt and effective responses to business-critical alerts outside of regular working hours Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly (https://himalayas.app/companies/calendly) does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time. Tier 1 Salary Hiring Range $224,400—$271,920 USD Tier 2 Salary Hiring Range $205,700—$249,260 USD Tier 3 Salary Hiring Range $187,000—$226,600 USD The ranges listed above are the expected annual base salary for this role, subject to change. Calendly (https://himalayas.app/companies/calendly) takes a number of factors into consideration when determining an employee's starting salary, including relevant experience, relevant skills sets, interview performance, location/metropolitan area, and internal pay equity. Base salary is just one component of Calendly (https://himalayas.app/companies/calendly)'s total rewards package. All full-time (30 hours/week) employees are also eligible for equity awards, and competitive benefits. Eligible Sales employees also qualify for a Sales Incentive program.
