We're now building a suite of AI-powered tools that will transform how our customers and partners interact with business compliance — from intelligent name analysis and entity recommendations to proactive compliance monitoring and automated filings.
We're looking for a Senior AI Integration Engineer who can do two things simultaneously: build production AI systems and mentor our core development team as they level up into AI-native development. This is a player-coach role — roughly 60% building alongside the team and 40% teaching through the work itself. You won't be delivering workshops or writing training decks. You'll be pair-programming on real products, making architecture decisions in real time, and shipping AI tools to production — while bringing four strong .NET developers along with you.
What You'll DoBuild AI-Powered Products• Design and build custom MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers that connect our CRM and proprietary data to AI-powered customer-facing tools.• Architect RAG pipelines that ground AI responses in our company's 15+ years of proprietary business filing data across all 50 states.• Integrate the Claude API (Anthropic) as the intelligence layer for a suite of tools including name intelligence, entity advisory, compliance monitoring, and automated form processing.• Build AI agents that orchestrate multiple external APIs (government databases, trademark registries, domain registrars) into unified validation pipelines.• Deploy production AI applications on Azure with monitoring, cost controls, and rate limiting.Mentor the Development Team• Pair-program daily with our four-person .NET development team as they transition from traditional CRUD development to AI-native architecture.• Lead architecture design sessions for MCP servers, RAG systems, and AI agent patterns that the team will own and maintain after your engagement.• Build reusable reference implementations (API clients, embedding pipelines, MCP server templates) that serve as blueprints for all subsequent tools.• Conduct live code reviews focused on AI integration patterns, prompt engineering in C#, and Semantic Kernel best practices.Establish Reusable Architecture• Create the foundational patterns that a pipeline of 15+ AI tools will share: Claude API client, Semantic Kernel orchestration, RAG pipeline, CRM data capture, and Azure deployment templates.• Document architecture decisions and integration patterns so the team can build subsequent tools with decreasing guidance.• Your ultimate success metric: by the end of the engagement, the team can ship a new AI tool from architecture to production without you in the room.
Required SkillsMust-HaveWhat We're Looking For MCP Server DevelopmentYou've built at least one net-new Model Context Protocol server connecting an AI model to a live data source. Consuming MCP servers doesn't count — we need someone who's built them.AI Agent ArchitectureYou've designed and deployed AI agents that orchestrate multiple tools, APIs, or data sources in a production environment..NET / C# Development3+ years professional C#. Comfortable with ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, dependency injection, Azure deployment.Claude API (Anthropic)Hands-on experience: message creation, streaming, tool use, system prompts, structured output.RAG PipelinesBuilt at least one production RAG system: chunking, embedding, vector database (Qdrant, Azure AI Search, Pinecone, or equivalent), retrieval optimization.Semantic Kernel (.NET)Working knowledge: kernel configuration, plugin development, memory/embeddings, planner patterns.Azure CloudDeployed AI-powered applications on Azure: App Service, Functions, AI Search, monitoring, cost management. Strongly Preferred• Salesforce API integration experience (REST/SOAP APIs, SFDX CLI for metadata extraction).• React frontend development.• Experience with government or regulatory data APIs (Secretary of State databases, USPTO, or similar).• Familiarity with vision-based automation agents (Skyvern, Firecrawl, Browser Use).• GitHub Copilot, Cursor IDE, and/or Claude Code experience.
Who You Are• A builder who teaches by doing. You explain design decisions while writing code. You pair-program naturally. You don't deliver le
