About the Company Our client is an AI-driven identity verification and risk decisioning platform trusted by financial institutions, fintechs, and enterprises. They use large-scale data and ML to determine whether digital identities are legitimate — and increasingly, to power real-time decisions around risk and compliance.
About the Role They're standing up a brand new Agentic AI team — a zero-to-one build with direct executive visibility. This team owns the core platform that enables AI agents to move beyond generating responses and into actually doing work: making decisions, executing tasks, and operating reliably at scale.
This is a platform and systems engineering role, not a feature role. If you want to build the infrastructure that an entire company will run on, this is it.
What You'll Build
Agent execution & orchestration — how agents run, coordinate, and complete multi-step tasksWorkflow & decisioning engines — reasoning across steps, triggering actionsMemory & context systems — persistent layers that give agents continuitySafety & governance frameworks — guardrails that keep systems within defined boundariesEvaluation systems — measuring accuracy, reliability, and real-world impact
What You'll Do
Design and build distributed systems supporting large-scale AI workflowsArchitect multi-agent systems that coordinate across tools and servicesDefine engineering standards and platform architectureIntegrate AI agents into real business workflows cross-functionallyContribute to long-term technical direction
What We're Looking For
Must-Have
5+ years in backend, distributed systems, or infrastructure engineeringStrong system design fundamentals (scalability, reliability, performance)Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or equivalentProduction experience with LLM-powered systemsFamiliarity with orchestration, RAG, or agent-based workflowsNice to Have
Multi-agent coordination frameworksAI evaluation or safety/guardrails systemsEarly-stage or zero-to-one build experience
Why It's Worth a Look This is a rare chance to architect foundational AI infrastructure from scratch — high ownership, high visibility, and real influence on how an entire company operates.
