Here's what makes this role different: we're building an AI-first engineering team. You'll use AI tools — coding assistants, code generation, automated testing, and more — not as a nice-to-have, but as a core part of how you work every day. You'll work alongside our Senior Full Stack Developer, who leads the platform's technical architecture, to ship features across the entire stack — from patient-facing mobile experiences to practitioner dashboards to backend services that power curriculum delivery, progress tracking, and integrations. This is a greenfield build on a modern stack, and you'll touch every part of it. This isn't a simple CRUD app. You'll be working on a multi-tenant, HIPAA-compliant healthcare platform with real architectural depth: serverless APIs with connection pooling, adaptive bitrate video streaming through CloudFront and MediaConvert, async job processing, infrastructure defined as code with AWS CDK, and integrations spanning labs, payments, supplements, and CRM. Right now, practitioners lack a cohesive way to deliver that journey — they're forced to cobble together tools that were never designed for this purpose. We've built the first version of this solution and are now rebuilding it as a modern, scalable platform. You'll help ship the features that make this platform real — building systems for curriculum delivery, patient engagement, and progress tracking that will shape how functional medicine is practiced at scale. What You'll Do Ship Features Across the Full Stack • Build and deliver production-ready features across our React front end, Node.js/TypeScript backend, and PostgreSQL database. • Own features end-to-end: from understanding the problem, to implementation, to deployment and monitoring. • Work across patient-facing experiences, practitioner tools, coaching dashboards, and admin systems. • Work with AWS CDK (TypeScript) to define and evolve infrastructure alongside application code — infrastructure is a first-class part of the codebase, not a separate concern. Build with AI as a Force Multiplier • Use AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude, Copilot, etc.) as a daily part of your development workflow. • Help establish and refine AI-assisted development practices across the team — prompt engineering, code review of AI output, and knowing when AI accel
