What you'll do
• Administer and configure NetSuite and Zuora Revenue to support GitLab business processes and compliant system operations.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements, workflows, customizations, and application changes that improve process efficiency.
• Partner with Finance, business systems peers, and other stakeholders to ensure applications are functioning as designed and meeting operational needs.
• Support SOX-compliant change management, including documentation, governance, and adherence to data, security, and legal guidelines.
• Manage inbound integrations and data flows between enterprise systems, including troubleshooting issues across the ERP and revenue systems landscape.
• Contribute code, customizations, and integrations in development environments using GitLab SDLC practices and internal engineering standards.
• Conduct code reviews and support maintainable, well-documented technical delivery aligned with team guidelines.
• Run small projects and contribute to team planning for new features, process improvements, and system roadmap decisions.

3-5 years of experience in a system administration role, ideally with an enterprise SaaS software model.
• Hands-on administrator experience in NetSuite and Zuora Revenue:
• Intermediate knowledge of NetSuite data objects, workflows, custom fields, and custom forms
• Ability to troubleshoot and understand the integration landscape to and from our ERP
• Understanding of NetSuite SuiteScripting & SQL is a plus
• SOX experience, working with auditors to provide effective walkthroughs on our system processes
• Strong business process knowledge of finance/accounting processes is strongly preferred (procure to pay, record to report)
• Zuora Revenue (RevPro) Administration: Configure and maintain revenue rules, POB templates, SSP allocations, and accounting treatments supporting ASC 606 compliance across multi-element arrangements.
• Data Integration & Pipeline Management: Manage inbound data flows from upstream billing and CRM systems (e.g., Zuora Billing, Salesforce), including staging table validation, error triage, and held transaction resolution.
• Revenue Close & GL Reconciliation: Support period-end close processes, including journal entry generation, GL account mapping, revenue waterfall review, and subledger-to-ERP reconciliation (e.g., NetSuite).
