Product Engineer

ilert builds incident management and alerting software used by engineering teams worldwide. We are a bootstrapped and profitable SaaS company. Over 90% of our code is now AI-generated, your job is to direct it, not type it. We are looking for Product Engineers who own their domain end-to-end: propose features, build them, measure their impact, and iterate. Tasks • Own a product domain end-to-end: propose features, build them, measure their impact, iterate • Ship production code daily using AI-native development tools (>90% of our code is AI-generated — your job is to direct it, not type it) • Talk to customers, study usage analytics, and turn insights into product improvements • Work in 2-week "bets" — fast cycles with real production deployments at the end of every sprint Requirements • 3+ years of software engineering experience (backend, frontend, or full-stack) • You've shipped features end-to-end and cared about whether users actually used them • You're comfortable with ambiguity — we'll give you a domain, not a spec • You use AI tools aggressively and see them as leverage, not a crutch • Experience with incident management, DevOps, or on-call tooling is a plus but not required Benefits • Agentic AI Frontier: You'll be at the forefront of the AI-SRE revolution, building real-world Human-AI collaboration patterns. • Real ownership: you decide what to build in your domain, not just how to build it. • Hybrid Freedom: Join us in our gorgeous Rheinauhafen office (3 days a week) with a world-class roof terrace; work from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays. • Focus > Meetings: We protect "Maker Time."
