Job Title: Head of Engineering
Overview:

This strategic and hands-on role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership prowess, and a forward-thinking mindset to build a high-impact engineering organization. You'll guide a diverse team of engineers across continents, influence the technical architecture of AI agents, and shape the future of how a groundbreaking company leverages intelligent automation to revolutionize an $84 trillion financial landscape.
Required Skills:
• Proven experience as an engineering leader (Director, VP, Head) with a strong track record of scaling teams and systems
• Deep expertise in software engineering with proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and distributed systems
• Solid background in AI/ML-driven environments and experience working with automation, workflow orchestration, or platform engineering
• Strong system architecture capabilities, including building reliable, scalable, and observability-focused infrastructure
• Ability to translate complex business needs into effective technical solutions
• Excellent communication skills to align technical teams with business stakeholders
• Experience managing teams of 15-20 engineers, including remote and international staff
Nice to Have Skills:
• Experience with AI agents, LLM-based systems, or automation platforms
• Familiarity with AI tooling such as Cursor, Warp, or emerging agent frameworks
• Knowledge of monitoring, evaluation, and reliability challenges specific to AI systems
• Prior startup or high-growth environment experience
• Background in estate automation, workflows, or orchestration systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus
• 10+ years of relevant experience in software engineering and technical leadership
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams in innovative or ambiguous environments
