They are seeking Founding Software Engineers to join small, high-impact teams, where you will own core product features, build APIs, and collaborate on architecture and technical direction. Responsibilities Owning core product and platform features from design through production Building and integrating APIs, services, and external platforms Designing scalable backend systems and data pipelines Working with modern AI/ML components and LLM-powered workflows where applicable Collaborating closely with founders and product leaders on architecture and technical direction Shipping quickly, iterating based on user feedback, and improving system reliability and performance Taking responsibility for key technical initiatives that directly impact growth, retention, and customer success Skills Professional software engineering experience (or equivalent internships, research, or open-source work) Strong proficiency in modern backend languages and frameworks (e.g., TypeScript, Python) Experience building and operating production-grade APIs and distributed systems Familiarity with modern data stores and search technologies (SQL/NoSQL, caching layers, vector databases) Experience with cloud infrastructure and performance, scalability, and reliability concerns Exposure to AI/ML systems, LLMs, or data pipelines Ability to own ambiguous problems end-to-end and ship high-quality product in a fast-moving startup environment Company Overview Boardy is an AI-powered professional networking startup with a voice assistant.
