What you'll build Backend architecture & APIs• Build and maintain RESTful APIs that serve the mobile clients, including session management, user data, and content delivery•Extend and optimize data models for voice transcripts, user profiles, session metadata, and longitudinal tracking• Architect secure, HIPAA-aware data pipelines for voice input, wearable data ingestion and reporting• Own the JWT authentication layer, route protection, and real-time session signaling RAG pipeline & personalization• Implement the RAG architecture that injects user context and session history into AI-driven responses at the right moments• Build and maintain the vector store layer and chunking strategies that power low-latency retrieval• Orchestrate LLM workflows across the platform's core AI features• Own prompt engineering — design, version, and iterate on prompt frameworks that keep AI outputs contextually appropriate and on-brand Voice AI & Audio Integration• Maintain and extend pipelines used in onboarding and ongoing session capture• Instrument audio pipelines for reliability, latency, and graceful fallback React Native Product Work• Build and maintain features in the app — from new screens and flows to performance optimizations and native module integrations• Work with Reanimated and Gesture Handler to deliver fluid, responsive UI interactions• Manage EAS build pipeline and coordinate OTA update delivery• Collaborate with product and clinical teams to translate requirements into precise, reliable UX Qualifications • Proficiency in Full-Stack Development, including both Front-End Development and Back-End Web Development • Strong skills in Software Development and ability to design scalable solutions • Experience with Front-End technologies, including Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) • Knowledge or interest in integrating artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies • Strong problem-solving skills and aptitude for teamwork in a remote environment • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred
