Founding Engineer

We're building the founding engineering team at a stealth AI startup. We're looking for a full-time engineer who wants to help build not just a product, but a company with us. We're tackling a $100B problem that we believe AI agents can fundamentally transform. We've already demonstrated that our technology can automate complex, real-world workflows, and we're now building the systems and team to take it much further. If you thrive on the challenges and pace required to delight early customers, but also want to establish the foundations of a technology stack and engineering team that can scale, let's talk. As a founding engineer, you will: • Push the boundaries of what's possible with AI agents and large language models to automate complex, real-world workflows. • Build agents that can reason, interact with external systems, communicate with people, and take action autonomously. • Design and engineer agent behavior, including prompts, intent modeling, skills, tool use, and action orchestration. • Work closely with the founders and early customers to shape the product, technology, and founding engineering team. • We're looking for someone who has: • 2+ years of software engineering experience with strong Python/backend fundamentals. • Built or shipped an AI/LLM product or feature into production. • Experience working with LLMs, agent behavior, prompt-to-action systems, intent modeling, and agent skills engineering. • Comfort working across APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and rapidly evolving AI tooling. • An appetite for early-stage startup life: high ownership, ambiguity, and wearing multiple hats. • A bias toward building, shipping, learning from users, and making things work.
